RapidMap has developed this Internet / browser based application to provide a fast, reliable and affordable corporate solution for the management of assets.

RapidAsset can show a map (Browser GIS viewer included), link to online documents, link to living floor plans of buildings, look up the history of asset inspection, asset maintenance and update tasks conducted in the field instantaneously.

RapidAsset can be a stand-alone Asset Management system or used as a Wireless Applications Gateway to push existing data to the Web. This approach enables existing databases to go wireless with minimum effort. Mobile work forces such as maintenance personnel can receive and respond to works orders, enquire on assets or environmental information.

RapidAsset can also be used to allocate resources and tasks, required for Work orders, send associated SMS or emails to activate activities pertaining to a work process.
